Published on the occasion of the exhibition held at the Lettering Arts Centre, Snape Maltings, Suffolk, 8 September - 22 December 2017, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Snape Maltings Concert Hall.
This festival of new work, which was created specially for the exhibition, celebrates the relationship of music and lettering, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the building of the concert hall. The full colour reproductions, and artist’s statements, show the work of 27 top lettering artists, using the mediums of carving, calligraphy, print, needlework and more.
